GEI worked closely with SARA Engineering, Operations and Electrical Personnel to determine SCADA requirements for SARA’s existing Martinez II WWTP. Utilizing input from SARA, experience at Upper Martinez WWTP and record drawings from Martinez II WWTP, GEI developed an I/O list and scope of services for this Design-Build RFQ. In addition, GEI assisted SARA with the Design-Build RFQ package evaluation, reviewed SCADA submittals, participated in construction meetings with design-build team, and participated in witness testing and functional testing of the new SCADA System. The resulting project allows SARA operators to monitor and control Martinez II WWTP processes from their Salatrillo WWTP and Upper Martinez WWTP.
